Mariart is a New York–based freelance illustrator and visual artist working across Seoul and New York. Blending the sensibility of fine art with popular culture, storytelling, and commercial design, she creates distinctive visual worlds that move fluidly across art, entertainment, publishing, fashion, and lifestyle. She is an affiliated artist of Lay Village, a global art and entertainment company, and is represented by Fillin Global, a New York–based artist agency.

In 2026, Mariart was selected for Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Digital Artists. Her work has been exhibited internationally at events and venues including Focus Art Fair New York and the NFT.NYC Times Square Billboard Showcase, as well as exhibitions in Vancouver, Paris, Seoul, and other major cities around the world.

She collaborated with Crypto.com to launch Out of Orbit, an original NFT collection released exclusively on the platform. She also participated in the UNICEF x Crypto.com global art campaign, with all proceeds from the sale of her artwork donated to UNICEF.

Expanding her practice beyond traditional art formats, Mariart collaborated with actress Kim Hee-sun, American wine brand Belle Glos Balade, and winemaker Joe Wagner on a wine packaging design project. She has also worked with a diverse range of global companies and organizations, including SK Telecom’s NFT platform TopPort, X-PLANET by Com2uS, LG Household & Health Care’s beauty brand belif, The Moon Labs, and the International Gaudí Foundation. Her collaboration with X-PLANET included the launch of PRISM, a collection inspired by aspiring K-pop girl group members.

Mariart’s commercial portfolio also includes a book cover design project with New York–based publisher Union Square & Co. Through future collaborations with international brands, cultural institutions, and creative platforms, she continues to expand her artistic universe and explore new ways for art to connect with contemporary culture and everyday life.

마리아트는 2026년 세계적인 크리에이티브 매거진 Lürzer’s Archive가 선정하는 200 Best Digital Artists에 이름을 올렸다. 또한 포커스 아트페어 뉴욕(Focus Art Fair New York), NFT.NYC 타임스퀘어 빌보드 쇼케이스를 비롯해 밴쿠버, 파리, 서울 등 세계 주요 도시에서 열린 다양한 전시와 프로젝트에 참여해왔다.

세계적인 디지털 자산 플랫폼 Crypto.com과의 협업을 통해 오리지널 NFT 컬렉션 Out of Orbit을 플랫폼에서 독점 론칭했으며, UNICEF와 Crypto.com이 함께한 글로벌 아트 캠페인에도 참여했다. 해당 캠페인에서 발생한 작품 판매 수익금은 전액 UNICEF에 기부되었다.

마리아트는 전통적인 예술의 영역을 넘어 배우 김희선, 미국 와인 브랜드 Belle Glos Balade, 와인메이커 조 와그너(Joe Wagner)와 함께 와인 패키지 디자인 프로젝트를 진행하며 아트와 라이프스타일의 경계를 확장했다. 이외에도 SK텔레콤의 NFT 플랫폼 탑포트(TopPort), 컴투스의 X-PLANET, LG생활건강의 뷰티 브랜드 빌리프(belif), 더문랩스, 국제 가우디 재단 등 다양한 기업 및 기관과 협업해왔다. X-PLANET과는 걸그룹 지망생을 모티브로 한 컬렉션 PRISM을 론칭했다.

또한 뉴욕 기반 출판사 Union Square & Co.와 북커버 디자인 프로젝트를 진행하는 등 출판과 상업 디자인 분야에서도 활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 앞으로도 글로벌 브랜드, 문화기관, 크리에이티브 플랫폼과의 다양한 협업을 통해 자신만의 예술 세계를 확장하고, 예술이 현대문화와 일상 속에서 새로운 방식으로 연결될 수 있는 가능성을 탐구해 나갈 예정이다.
